Everybody loves long, luscious locks. Where hair care is simple yet tedious, a few right steps can make it relatively easy. Here are few to maintain hair as you like ;
WASHING ROUTINE
Washing hair too often can make your hair dried out, stripped of its Natural oils. Dermatologists recommend a hair washing routine of up to two to maximum three times a week. Use a good quality shampoo.
LATHERING TIME
Don’t keep the shampoo on too long while lathering as it will lead to hair thinning and ultimately hair fall.
RINSE THOROUGHLY
Rinse your hair thoroughly cause if not washed properly the product may be left for too long and prone your hair to a longer tie window of damage.
CONDITIONING METHOD
Always condition your hair after shampooing. If you are in a hurry or you’ve gone ” GREEN ” ( I mean environment friendly LOL). After washing when your hair is about to dry ( a little moist), apply a few drops of hair oil preferably olive to your scalp and comb your way down. That way you don’t have to waste time conditioning your hair.
BRUSHING TECHNIQUE
Always detangle your hair with fingers after washing and use a wide toothed comb to brush your hair as it reduces breakage and makes combing easier. Avoid brushing hair while wet as it makes it brittle and weak.
ALWAYS DRY YOUR HAIR NATURALLY
Always air dry your hair. Hair doesn’t respond well to heat, as it is made of rotein and starts becoming frizzy and dry. A simple trick to style your hair without using a straightener is to get it a little moist and tying it into a bun.
AVOID DYEING YOUR HAIR/ USE HENNA
Avoid perming, crimping, curling, straightening, dyeing or bleaching if at all possible. If you are die hard fan of dyeing, use a natural dye like Henna as it conditions your hair, relaxes your mind and gives you a beautiful shade with a lovely shine. Avoid using Black Henna as it contains chemicals and may you leave with a severe allergic reaction.
